Google Reader is my RSS aggregator of choice ever since it first came out. I’m very happy with it and I’ve never looked back to the days I used a desktop app to read my RSS subscriptions (I used Newsfire back then). However, during the last few weeks I’ve noticed an annoying ‘bug’. I get duplicate feed items on numerous subscriptions. If it was in only one or two, I wouldn’t mind because it can happen sometimes. This ‘bug’ however is all over the place! Anybody else having the same problem?

I just watched the trailer! It looks sooo gooood! I enjoyed the previous two movies very much and from the trailer I think that the third one will be even better! This reminds me that I have to read the books too! Watch the trailer in its full HD glory here.

When I first noticed this in one of my feeds, I thought it was a joke. After visiting the official website of the 2012 Olympic Games I realised it was the real thing. The new brand cost £400,000 and it took one year of research. I’m sorry but I hate it. I think it’s ugly, ugly and.. ugly! I’d love to read your thoughts on this. Just for comparison, here’s the previous logo:

There’s an online petition going on to change the logo. At the moment, there are 13286 signatures! Go and sign!
After a month of absence, I started working out again today! Instead of going on my usual route around Millwall Dock, I decided to go to Mudchute Park. It was much more enjoyable ![]()
As far as the workout goes, I am quite satisfied with my performance! ![]()
I’ve got 4 invites to give! Comment away!
Update: Only one left!! None left! ![]()
A few days ago I was invited to Joost. I haven’t played too much with it yet but I like what I’ve seen so far, especially the interface. If you’d like to check it for yourself, leave your email in the comments and I’ll send you an invite!
Works on PCs running Windows XP/Vista and Intel-based Macs running OS X 10.4 or later.
Invites left: 0

Fridaycities is a new social network for London (At the moment, that is. They plan to expand to other cities around the globe in the future!). I’m a member for quite some time and I’m enjoying the site very much! I’ve read some interesting stuff about the city I live in for the past 6 years!
So if you want to join the fun, just go to Fridaycities.com and put the following invitation code in the box on the right of the homepage
Invitation code: jdzf3v6ilgx7
1. Thou shalt walk whenever possible, but always from Charing Cross to Embankment.2. Thou shalt have thine Oyster Card in thine hand when thou reachest the ticket barriers, and not stand there, rummaging through thine bag for five minutes, like a tool.
3. Thou shalt not consume fragrant foodstuffs or alcohol, unless thou art a vagrant.
4. Thou shalt attend to personal hygiene. In particular, if thou hast been wassailing heartily the night before, thou shalt take special care to brush thine teeth in the morning.
5. Thou shalt talk quietly, or not at all, on thine mobile phone when on the bus - nobody else wants to hear who Emma did last night or how much Liam spent on his sodding shoes. Furthermore, thou shalt endeavour to stop those who wish to share their choice of music on loudspeaker, even though thou risketh being stabbed till thou art dead.
6. Thou shalt not whistle.
7. Thou shalt not press the “open” button on tube doors as this is the mark of the tourist.
8. Thou shalt not duck, dive or bomb. And though shalt most certainly not heavy pet.
9. If thou art not sure how to get off an escalator, or where to stand, thou shalt not get on it.
10. Thou shalt not wear darke glasses underground. Ye nobs.
Pretty funny and true!
